RHS ESSENTIAL

Many students feel like knowing how to do well in math is an inborn skill, something that can’t be learned. But the truth is that anyone can be successful in math – they just need the right strategies. Over the next few days, we will be investigating tips for Math success!

Tip #1: Fight not to miss a class.

Note that lessons in the Math class move fast. Teachers teach a new concept every day. What students do today builds towards tomorrow. Math punishes absent learners. To keep up, students have to make time to come back and learn what they missed. So if there’s an optional appointment to be made, take care not to schedule it during Math periods.
